Hello Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to let you know that we are ceasing production of our beloved Margo’s Bark root beer, effective immediately. Prices on raw materials and on shipping have risen so dramatically on us, that we aren’t even close to breaking even, making further production a financial impossibility for us. As a consequence, we aren’t generating any money to donate to animal rescue efforts, which has always been our goal.

For over ten years we have been manufacturing and distributing Margo’s Bark. Most of you will recall this started out as our son’s Kindergarten science fair project. He made homemade root beer and named it after our rescue dog Margo. And over the course of all these years, we are proud to say that we’ve donated something around $50,000 to various animal rescue and welfare groups. None of that would have been possible without our loyal vendors and their customers. So we want to take this opportunity to thank you for what you have done as partners in our effort to help out those animals in need.

While this may be the end of our root beer, I know I will continue to see many of you, as I’m your customer too. So I’ll see you when I’m out looking for a great slice of pizza, a box of vegan donuts, a bottle of wine, or kibble for my own pack of rescue dogs.

Drink a Bite and Thank You,

Jessica Youd
